You have hit the nail on the head!
The only observation that I would make is that five out of each ten responders , what they write are NOT the answers but their views and thoughts. It is this that makes all the difference. Personally to me this is like the reflection of the light from the various faces of a cut diamond, reflecting different colours .

Sitting in one part of this world , I am able to travel into the minds of thousands of friends , across the globe. The beauty is we donot know who is responding . A spanish mind was so close to my thinking the other day. It makes the world a better place to live and understand.

Yes, especially so here in the philosophy section, because exactly opposite views can be equally convincingly believed and argued for. It is really great to see so much similarity in so much variety and so much variety in answers to the same one question. Often it becomes really difficult to choose the Best answer, unlike say in Maths section.

On most of the general questions, most of the answers are what you would come up with if you thought about the question for 5mins.

Overall I agree. Odd though that all the answers to THIS question appear similar.

I agree!! I love to read all the opinions of others and then put MY two cents worth in!! How boring it would be if we all thought alike!!
