Could my doctors and I have the wrong due date? I thought my last period was June 6. But what I'm experiencing seems at least 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

I assume they are braxton hicks, they don't hurt at all. Just a muscle contracting and it feels like a rock. DOES NOT HURT!

Hi Sweetie,
I am still laughing over "its your childs safety and life for God's sake"....lol....that one really got me going. As if being two weeks ahead of schedule would hurt a darned thing! Some people....
well, it does sound like you could be a bit ahead of yourself and it also sounds to me like you have answered your own question. I would just wait until your next appointment and see what your doctor thinks. He or she is definitely the best person for you to be talking to about this. We can not do any tests or even see you so it is kinda hard to tell you much.
I am sure tho that everything is well within the range of normalcy.
I am happy for you, this is such a blessed time in your life, enjoy it!
Love and Blessings

I could not quite pay attention something by way of the stethoscope while I used to be that some distance alongside. I had braxton hicks contractions from 20 weeks on and nonetheless am at 36 weeks. Don't strain out over this, I had no fetal motion that I spotted for approximately three days on time round approximately 20 weeks as good however name your dr and inform him approximately your matters. I certain he's going to will let you recognize whats occurring.Well well success I wish the whole lot is best and well success together with your being pregnant.

Sounds like you are on schedule for both kicks and Braxton-Hicks contractions. Most first-time moms feel kicks around 18-20 weeks (18 for my first, 15 weeks for my second). Braxton-Hicks contractions can start at the beginning of the second trimester. Mine started early in the second trimester for my second baby. When I asked my OB about it he said if I had 4 or more contractions an hour then he wanted to know about them. Hope this helps.

that's ok. not everything is on a schedule. Your ok. enjoy the baby's kicks. and as for the BH contractions, my doc told me that what you do now, you wont have to do in labor. he was right my second child was born within the hour of labor. and i was dilated 3cm in my 37th week. he has 2 days late. As long as your pregnancy stay healthy and with no complications don't worry. just enjoy the next 20 weeks. actually you've been feeling the baby for a while you just didn't know it. have you felt a little tickling feeling inside? that was your baby.. you should have felt this about 1 month ago.. Good luck... Happy pregnancy

It is not unusual to feel the baby kicking by now but are you sure they are Braxton Hicks? I mean as your body stretches and moves around to accomodate the growing baby you do get some pretty strange aches and pains.... or maybe the baby is pressing on a nerve???
