Dumaguete City also called "the city of gentle people" is the main city of the island Negros oriental.
The name Siliman, is the name of one of the best university of the Philippines located in Dumaguete City.
The City is also very interesting to start on many excursions in and around the island!!
I did appreciate my stay over there very much !!

Dumaguete City is a city in the Philippine province of Negros Oriental. It is the capital, principal seaport, and largest city of Negros Oriental. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 102,265 people. A person from Dumaguete City is called a "Dumagueteño". The city is nicknamed The City of Gentle People.
Silliman is also a part of dumaguete city.
dumaguete is one of the most beautiful places here in the philippines because you can see here the histoy and culture of the philippines.

I've been to Dumaguete. Its one of the cleanest city i've ever gone to. People are jolly... Silliman is a place noted for the high respected school for the genius student s- The University of the Philippines .

I was there in June of this year and had a wonderful time. The city boasts an abundance of beautiful people and places, and is definitely worth returning to.
