I'm just curious what happend to make it come to that after so many years and how did your life turn out after.

my mom and dad are gating a divorce after 27 years..
I say "it was about time" my dad cheated from day one i don't know how mom didn't see it! but i knew at age 10 told mom and didn't believe me. now his lover told her in her face and mom was still doubt full to divorce.

My parents divorced after 32 years because my dad met somebody younger. If he hadn't, I think they would probably still be plodding along now because they were pretty good friends even though the romance had worn a long time ago.
Since their split, my mum has never been happier. She's been 'released' from the house and has travelled further in recent years than she ever did whilst married.
My dad went on to have two more children with his younger girlfriend but they have since split and he has re-married a woman older than him!
My parents no longer have any contact with each other.

I worked with a woman once who divorced her husband after 33 years of marriage. She said her ex-husband had been abusive to her for many years and that leaving him was the best decision she had ever made.

my inlaws were married 29 years when the divorced. Neither one of them got along real well, and I'm surprised they didn't bump each other off before. they fought all the time. She walked in on him with his girlfriend once, and that was it. She is sooo much happier now (It's been about 7 years) and they talk still, and get along fine.

My mom left my dad after 32 yrs of marriage, because he was always abusive to her and me and my brother. She was waiting until we were old enough to take care of ourself and that she was in a position to take care of herself.
Everything has been great, she met my step-dad about a year later and they have been married for 5 yrs now. He is a wonderful man.

My Grandpa And Grandpa Split after 45 Years......They said they just grew apart. They are Still good friends though

Not yet but I am thinking about it seriously. After 35 years together my wife has turned cold to sex. Won't even talk about it!
I am almost 60 but still have needs. I am at my wits end!
