women's toplessness, aka topfree: Would you as a woman want to be allowed to be topless?

I was reading an article about this.(yeah yeah, I'm a "pig"). Seriously though, as a man I have the right to go shirtless on a hot day if I choose. I'm not ripped so I generally don't.
...Some women want that right too. I'm fairly convinced the majority of women want to have "them" covered in public.
...Based on what I've seen w/ my finacee, I assume women would rather just be braless...at home at least, but them they would sag in time.

I live in NY, where it's legal for a girl to be topless anyplace a guy can be.

I'm 21, and since that law went into effect about 10 years ago, I've really grown up knowing that it's OK for me to be topless, at least legally.

Obviously, although we have the right to do so, few if any girls go strolling down the street topless...for obvious reasons. Maybe that day will come, but it's not here yet.

However, there are many girls who go topless at "regular" beaches, and it's really not a big deal for anyone. I go to the nude beach, so it's not an issue for me, but a few of my friends have started to take off their tops at regular beaches and, after they're comfortable with their boobs out in public, start going to the nude beach where they can get totally naked without any hassles.

For me, I've laid out topless in public parks a few times without any problems, and even played basketball topless with friends in a "shirts vs. skins" game. Myself and another girl were on the skins team, and it was fun being able to play topless and just enjoiy the freedom of bare boobs on a great day. Some passers-by gave a second look, but that was really it. No problems (except for the distracted guys on the other tesm...LOL!)

By the way, I'm 34C, which is pretty average, so I'm not worried about excessive bouncing or sagging...at least not yet. And there are many girls at the nude beach with really large boobs, and unless they're jogging along the beach, having their boobs uncovered probably isn't uncomfortable for them

Remember, a long time ago guys were arrested for going topless in public, and now it's no big deal. Hopefully someday soon we'll have the same rights in all states as guys do...NY is a start!

It's common here for women to be topless at the beach, only European women, anyone can who wants to. There's one old lady that visits every year. She's about 75, dyed blond hair, lots of jewelry (at the beach) and topless. Her's hang at least to her navel, and have big blue veins. They call her the coconut lady. She enjoying stand in front of where all the chairs are so she's facing everyone else. Quite a show, tourists take pictures. Since this is Asia, we've given her a more appropriate name; however, TwoHungLow

I'm a man and I live in France. Women here have been going around topless on any beach for decades and it bothers no one. Also I'm sure it's more comfy for a woman, rather then being strapped in dinosaur gear. And finally women are (yes they are) beautiful... so what's the problem?

personal choice i reckon. i mean a man has no shirt on at the beach, what difference should it be for a woman? if she wants it let her have it, if she takes it off big deal?!
