I think Pickard was just for the simple fact he went through a whole lot more crap than Kirk. I mean he was turned into a Borg and Kirk slept with every species of alien chicks he encountered.
Pickard had way more challenges, he never had to worry about the Trouble With Tribbles...
But I love them both they were both Great Captains...

Of course Captain Kirk. He can do a flying drop kick. Picard is like an office manager. Picard should become a gardener at the star fleet academy.

I think the two can't be compared. They grew up in different times and had different agendas. But being that I am older the first is always the best...so I vote Captain Kirk, cause without him their never would have been a need for Picard, Janeway, or Scott Bacula's charecter!!!!!

Pickard. He had more fo a level head, and still was firm. Noone messed with him. And he later grew to become Dr. xavier of the school for gifted youngsters.
