I have a Florida Room (glass enclosed porch / room). It is not insulated and is mostly made of glass. I would like to know what is the best way to heat this room. I want to use it in the winter months. what is the best way to heat this room. I would like a cheap cast iron stove but what is the best way to do this?

A small ceramic heater should do the job or you could install baseboard heaters.

I live in Central Florida, and have a "ROOM" of that type.

Consider how often you'll actually spend time in that space, and that Florida winters are mild, relative to other areas of the country.
Not knowing your tolerance levels, but understanding your rational for using the space as often as possible, I suggest a portable heater.

"Holmes" makes many types, and I most like the HQH307 model.
A cast iron stove, depending on it's fuel source, would have to be vented to the outside. A propane heater would not,,,as an electric heater wouldn't need exterior venting.

The issue is more a budget one than a TYPE.

Think of your situation like this.

A FAN is meant to "Cool" people, not rooms. When you aren't in a "room" the fan should be OFF. Similarly, a heater need not be active, if you aren't using a room.

Passive solar might be one way to go. Sweating is a real problem in these un-insulated rooms.
