if the first day of my last period was oct. 2, 2006..and i had unprotected sex on oct. 23, 2006. what are the chances of me getting pregnant? im not on birth control or ne thing:(

Hi honey,
If you are pretty regular you should have ovulated around the 16th. The egg is only viable for 24 hours so that means that if you did not have sex until the 23rd you should not have been able to get pregnant.
After many years and a great deal of experience with lots of women I know that strange things can happen. As I always tell women, if you had sex, you could be pregnant.
You asked what the chances are though and my answer to that is "very slim".

If your cycle is a regular 28 days then the chances are low...you should have ovulated around the 16th. You can get pregnant from intercourse 5 days before and the day of ovulation. To be pregnant this time, you would have to have a 35 day cycle (from start of period to start of next period).

well you might have missed you r ovulation date. the best time to have sex is just beforew you ovulate. like by a day or two.your egg can only live for 24 hours, but sperm can live for up to5 days. The x chromosome that would produce a girl can live up to 5 days and the y chromosome live s just about 2 days. so try getting an ovulation kit, and that would tell you better when your about to ovulate and then get prepared, for some most enjoyable sex and do it about three to foru times that week. Have fun practicing until then.

there is always a chance.. but the chances are better if you had sex from the 12 to the 17... today is the 23rd so you had sex today? wel it would be to urly to take a test then : )

your chance of being pregnant are low. you should of ovulated before then.
