winter is coming now in southern mn and we have cracked corn and i am wondering out of these poultry what is going to handle winter, cracked corn, and most likely to stay alive during winter. White Pekin duck, Rio Grande turkeys, Canada geese, or Khaki Campbell ducks? (they all come as chicks/goslings) Please explain your answer.

Cracked Corn will not be enough for any poultry to live off of. They need wheat,barley,corn......Any duck is a good duck! they are amazing for winter you don't need much to keep them warm other than a simple shelter. If you got them as chicks they will need a heat lamp for awhile till about 6-8 weeks old. after that make sure their new home has plenty of fresh straw, and they have plenty of fresh water. If your going to use an old bathtub for water make sure you add a brick in the bottom, because they can't get out other wise.
Duck are the easiest of all the poutry to raise....oh I missed your turkey question, turkey's are great in winter too ! but you have to keep a good watch out for disease with turkey's.

Your birds need to be fed a complete feed not just cracked corn. It is not nutritionally complete and they are going to be lacking many vitamins and things.
All of these birds can survie the winter. The Canadian Geese will do well. They will stay in an area as long as they have aceccess to food. Many will stay over the winter in Neberaska and Iwoa if there is food provided. Even if the water freezes.
Most do not move unless they have lots of snow and it covers the food supply then they will move south to have better access to food.
If these are domesctic birds you should be providing food nad water that won't freeze and a place to saty at night like a coop or smoe type of houseing with a heat lamp for warmth.
