Your question is a bit broad and unscientific. I guess there is good and bad in both societies. I have not met and spoken to many Malaysian people. but has a Welshman I have been in contact with many Americans via the net, and I have met many nice and good citizens, but overall they have a tendacy to be very arrogant, as if everyone else owes them a living and we somehow cant get along without them.
Thats my experience of Americans, but they are not all the same.
