There is a producr called pex tubbing. It has been used in europe for decades. It needs to be installed by a licenced plummer, The reason being special tools are needed to hook the fittings up. Call any local wholesale plumbing supplier and ask for a refrences of plumbers certified in installation. They should have a list.

The above answer is right in using the pex flexible piping but you can install it yourself if you make sure you have the right pex fittings and are shown how to install them for hooking up pex to pex and pex to copper. I have shown many a customer how to do this and you can do it yourself. Just make sure that when you are using the pex fittings with the pex piping that you get the little copper sleeves to go in each fitting for the pex to go in - this stops the pex from collapsing and stops leaks. Talk to a knowledgable person in the plumbing department at your local DIY store for information. Pex is a very easy way to go if people are trying to get away from all copper piping.
