I believe in both.
In Gensis it states that God created the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th day. The term "day" does not exactly mean a 24 hr day as we know it. The term "day' indicates a length of time. We are the ones who needed a time reference not God.
We as God's children do not know long it actually took for the earth to get to a point were God could create life as we know it.
But the important part is that the earth did get to a point were God could create life as we know it.
My favorite God story that illustrates my belief is as follows: God allowed a man to ask 3 questions. The man thought about it and asked his first question, "God, to you how long is a million years? " God answered him "It is a second of your time." The man said "Ok. God, to you how much is a million dollars?" God answered. "It a penny of you money" The man said "Ok. God, can I have a penny?" God's reply was "In a second"
To me it is all relative. Dinosaurs were part of God's plan to get earth to the point where man would exist here. God has a reason for everything including dinosaurs.

Of course Dinosaurs existed, only a fool would question a fact that can be seen, touched, and proven beyond any doubt. The Bible does not mention Dinosaurs. Serpents are mentioned, they are simply Snakes, and Leviathans are large sea creatures that are better known as Whales. Dinosaurs existed without doubt, long before man, therefore the persons who invented the 7 day creation, did not know what we know today.

Most people don't know this, but the bible actually ends with Chuck Norris showing up at the crucifixion with a pair of Uzi's and kicking some Roman ***. Chuck Norris was all like, "Jesus, I totally saved you." Then, off on the horizon, a bunch of Romans show up riding dinosaurs led by Mecha Pontious Pilate. Jesus busts out this sweet ninja sword and says, "Now it's my turn to save you." Then Jesus and Chuck Norris run towards the Romans in slow motion. That's how the bible ends. It's a cliff-hanger. I can't wait for the sequel, "The Bible 2: Water...Into Blood".
So yes in this case i do believe in god and dinosaurs.

This is a good question. I feel saying both is a cop out. I also feel that god is man's way of coping. People need to research the history of religion and not blindly accept dogma. More proof of dinosaurs, and ancient humans, is found all the time. All the creation myths have man coming from the dust, so why not a lower life form which later became man. Divine intervention is simply a way for people to accept this.

I don't think this is an 'either or' question as there are many Christian scientists out there. Additionally the dinosaurs pre-date the old testament (if one were to date the earth using the 'Begat' chapters of the bible as per Bishop Usher. A religious scholar who worked out the age of the earth by working out the ages of each generation traced in the bible prior to the birth of Christ.)

what's the harm in believing in both? I would like to believe in god but sometimes I have difficulties as there is no real proof but there are so many miracles in life and I see a lot of things in the bible that have come true through out the course of history certain things as such make me believe in god but as far as the dinosaurs what is to doubt? there is proof that they existed

I believe that there were dinosaurs, and I believe that there is a God.
In the Bible in the book of Job there are some pretty freaky animals described that sound a lot like dinosaurs. And God created them.

God no, Dinos, yes.
We have lots of scientific evidence for the existence of dinosaurs, so much so that it is even enough to reconstruct life-size models of them. As for God, I think it sounds quite unbelievable. An almighty, all-knowing unseen being right up there controlling our lives? I doubt it.

What do you mean, believe? To me it means being presented with something for example, a letter, by someone and being asked "Do you believe this?" the answer of course is, yes I believe that it is a letter, do I believe the contents, then no. why should I? where is the proof that the contents are true? Do you agree?. Now try this, you are presented with a pile of strange shaped rocks in the shape of a very large animal of sorts, now, rocks have got to be pretty old would you agree? for bone to turn to rock they have got to be very very old, do I believe that these rocks are old animal bones, then yes. This book, the bible, it strikes me that the people who wrote it didn`t know much about archaeology. do I believe what is written in it, of course not.
God is for the brainwashed.
