User Generated Content is being eroded now, and when the US senate votes against network neutrality we can kiss the internet goodbye. It will be corporate controlled; even if they don't own the sites they will own control of the pipes.
We will have trouble accessing many websites, we'll have to wait or pay to see them. Not good.
For example, you're on dial up at the library; you want to research Burger Bar or Krappy Kola because you have a job interview. You type in Goggle and get Yipee (they're in favour of abolishing network neutrality). You type in Krappy Kola and get the site for another Well Known brand of cola. Because they paid for that to happen.

This is the first legitimately interesting question I have read on this site. I think it's going to be nanotechnology. It will revolutionize health care, at the very least, and probably military operations as well. I hope the internet gets less popular eventually. It's sometimes used for good, but mostly used for trash talking and ****. Actually, it's the epitome of America!
