Yes you have been honest with him and told him how you feel, it would be wrong if you could not be open with him and tell him your feelings. If you can not talk openly one another than that would prove that there is something wrong with your rel.
As you two have been completely honest with one another that is great as you two have a great rel where both of you can talk to one another

Hi , and exactly what are you asking? Were you right to tell him? are you moving too fast? Have you exposed yourself to hurt? If its all these then the answers may well be No, yes, and yes! Should you loose sleep over it.? NO! The rush of passion at the start of a relationship can be confused as love. Love takes time and needs to survive the flaws you find in each other. Enjoy the passion but when it settles down see if a deep friendship remains. If such a friendship remains then your in love!

if he feels the same way then i hope he told u that he luvs u. unless its normal if u fell in luv after 6 weeks but he should feel the same way too. better to ask him frankly then the prob's gonna b solved.

If he said 'I love you, too' then there's nothing to worry about. unless you feel he said it just so you wouldn't be hurt, then you should give him some space for a couple of days- call less, etc. but I think guys are simple- he wouldn't say it if he didn't mean it :)
