I don't know about cancer, but I do know that they cause an arm injury. Let's say you talk all day long in your car, nd your arm has been in that same position(against the window,holding the phone to your ear)all day,too, then the blood all slowly rushes down and causes a sort of spazz attack in your arm. There was never any proof that they cause cancer but they have only been around a short time. In comparision to say cigarettes which at one time where also suspected of causeing cancer but know real proof now we know. So only time will tell
