I asked a question, ppl answered then this girl was like taking the p'ss out my question, and then wrote "and why give everyone the thumbs down? why ask the question in the first place?" WHATS THE thumbs down anyway??!! How do i do this? I have no idea what she is chatting about...

She's just dumb! Someone has obviously given a thumbs down to all of the answers you have been given and she seems to think it was you!
I read her answer, she was trying to be grown up!
Basically when you get to level two you can give people a thumbs up or thumbs down, you can do it on peoples questions as well!
Don't worry about it hun!

She'll be talking about the rating system; the thumbs up/down symbols next to questions and answers. You can't rate until you hit level 2 which you need 250 points for. Although if she actually typed that she needs some help by the sounds of... :-)

on the corner of the questions and answers there is a line with an up thumb,down thumb, a flag, and a plus sing and you can give thumbs up or down add the person to your watchlist, or flag a person for being in the bad group as yahoo would put it

You can rate peoples questions and answers with either a thumbs up or thumbs down when you get to level two !.

Means that someone didn't like your comment or was offended by it. Don't take it personally. I get thumbs down all the time! Looked at your 360 page and you definitely get a thumbs up from me :o)

When you get to level 2 on yahoo answers you can vote on whenther the question was a good one or a bad. You can also vote on the answers in the same way. You simply click the little thumbs up for a good answer/question or visa versa for a bad one.

The person who left you that answer was Shelleysnapz (or something like that), and she is gratuitously nasty to just about everyone. Personally, I think she has a screw loose so just ignore the cow.
