The tendancy to be attracted to the same sex is a born trait. But it can be suppressed if there is enough societal and family pressure, and the desire is not strong. There are a LOT of men suffering in the world today because of this.

It can also be learned behaviour. If a boy is exposed to pedophilia from an early age, he learns to recognize sexuality as being same sex based. If the victim is determined enough, he can overcome this as well. But in our society we teach victims that they are responsible for what happens to them, so it is very rare that overcoming this is successful.

Being attracted (genuinely and not just to go along with the crowd, or satisfy some musical artist's sensibilities) to the same sex is not WRONG. People are different. We should always embrace our differences, and stop trying to be part of the herd as society would like us to be.

I guess what I'm trying to say is to be true to yourself. Live your life as yourself, and not as what society thinks you should be.

there's a big never ending arguement about that. Personally, i would think being gay is not inborn. It would be affected with the enviroment where the person is in.

Some people know from a very young age that they are gay, so I would say yes...not to say that environment has nothing to do with it. I was attracted to women before I was even a teen, I considered myself bi but the bad experiences I've had with men has completely turned me off. These days I'm only attracted to women, so i guess experience has something to do with it too.

The Bible is against it so I would say nobody is born gay. They in some point of their life chose to be that way!
