Seriously, who knows? But remember many countries have had thier turn at the top and none have stayed there forever. In time, the United States will be no different. Just hope it lasts for a while longer yet!

If you look at the great civilisation in the past, they all reach a certain height of power and then fall. I think America has almost reached its high as the worlds dominate country. Going into Iraq was a mistake and now Korea are preparing them selves for a nuclear war. I think America will fall before 2056 and one of the communist countries will take over.
I hope this doesn't happen tho.

Unless the Democrats completely take over and destroy our Capitalist System, we will still be the Greatest Super Power in the history of the world.
If China goes to Capitalism, it will surpass us soon after.
Because of Socialism, all of Europe will be Third World Banana Republics.

Probably a dead wasteland, because they would have pissed off one too many countries with nuclear capability, and that country decided it wasn't going to allow the U.S. to push it around anymore.
