Wrong spelling can be his typing mistake, why you all are taking it so seriously ? First of all I request Mr Blademm to make his thoughts good for hackers. Hacking is not an illegal work. Instead, the actual word, for what you call hacking is Cracking. Hacking is simply a process of identifying the potential problems and loopholes in the security in a newly developed software. Even the software development companies hire such hackers to enhance the security measures of their softwares. Of course these hackers can perform the illegal operations, but this does not mean that all hackers are the bad ones in the society.

Stop poking around in UNIX or other PCs and messing them up, is a start.
Hacking is a respectable deal, crackers screw up a good thing and such things as Microsoft DRM and Closed Source Code is developed.
Got windows XP on your box, get rid of it, buy a legit copy of Windows 2000 Pro, partition the HDD, add a second and a 3rd HDD, start coding for good of all. Write a program, debug a working program that is GNU Free Software, or Care Ware, and let the Hardware makers focus on machines that work with everything.

Reliance Web World offers a course on "Ethical Hacking" this is conducted by "Ankit Fadia" institute, visit the nearest Reliance Web world and ask them for it. Course fees should be around Rs.7000/- to Rs.8000/-

A real hacker does not ask how to be a hacker. Plus, there's no ethical hacker term. Hacking is illegal and does not good for your mental life.

To be a hacker you will have to have lateral thinking, which i think is not good for your mental well being. Its like being a thief to catch a thief. But at some point you are a thief so why take the risk?
