to me there is nothing stranger than a face without a smile.
when somebody is without i offer them mine even if it seems one size too large, it is adjustable.

My question; would you make an extra four or five steps out of your way to help someone with an armful, a stroller or push cart to hold open the door for them? Would you offer to help a stranger who tripped and fell? If you saw a stranger who seemed lost would assist?
My point:
A smile means little (but is thought of the most).
A frown means a lot (but is given without thought the most).
Taking the extra effort to make someone else's life easier on a small scale is more often overlooked for the 'change the world' feeling we often have.

if someone gives me a warm smile,i cant help but smile even if that person is a stranger and not the object of my desire.

Some strangers seem very joyous, and I would never miss an opportunity to smile at that person, and snatch a bit of that joy in return to make my day a bit more cheerful !

if you smile at a stranger, they may think you're a nutcase, but i am anyway, so i say hello to everyone. Even the pink sheep who live on the houses of parliment.

I seem to smile anytime I make eye contact. Only on my most depressing days am I unable to smile at someone.
