I was just wondering if by this time my uterus should already have reached my ribs? Because it's still about 1 1/2 inces or so below my ribs. I do have a longer torso, but it seems like my uterus hasn't moved for 1-2 weeks. Is that possible or is it harder for me to tell compared to my doctor? Thanks, 1st pregnancy!!

He's never used a tape measure on me ...just pushes around on my tummy? When do they actually start measuring?

It took me until I was 8 months along and I'm short. Don't worry about it. The baby goes through different growth phases and spends all the time curled up. In fact, be grateful. Those last couple of months can be doozies because when the baby starts to stretch or kicks you can feel like your ribcage is being dislocated. As long as your ob feels the baby is healthy, just relax. Every pregnancy is different.

everyone's pregnancy is different. you may be a low carrier. if your active alot that also keeps you baby low. this can help during your delivery because you baby may be more ready to come out . my first pregnancy was 30mins ;P! i worked 40 hour a week and let me tell you i was LOWWWWWWWW!! as far as your doctor not measuring you nether did mine all the time. some weeks she would others she wouldn't. if you haven't made a visual change that could be a reason but im no doc so don't quote me (lol). just try to enjoy your pregnancy and suck up all of the attention. hope you have a wonderful birth :)

Try not to worry about it too much. Some women carry higher or lower than others. Your baby will probably be kicking you in the ribs in no time.

Your doctor would te;; a;ot better than you. you may not see it growing but he measures your uterus at every check up as long as your going to a doc. Im sure evry thing is fine, your just nervous. have fun, dont be to panicky, its not good for the baby. relax and love it.

Leave all the questions to be answered by your doctor. Your curiosity is just natural, being in the first time pregnancy.
