Yes, unless it is for some reason sitting in camera. But if you do walk in, make sure that you're soberly dressed. Maintain a solemn demeanour. And be warned that some coroners' courts are very small and so by walking in you're likely to attract curious stares from those present.

Yes the coroners court is open to the public. I have served on a coroners jury and it was open(Illinois). I wouldnt want to go to one unless it involved me personally. It is a hard thing to do, The things you have to hear and sometimes look at.
