Right now, I have to remove the USB card from my motherboard, shut down win98, reinsert the USB card, boot up my windows 98 (pentium 233). Then insert the USB flash drive into the card. Sometimes, the USB flash drive is detected and it works. Sometimes, it is detected as an UNKNOWN Device. i.e. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Would be happy if someone has any idea/tips to make it work all the time :)

If it does no longer then you definitely extremely have a topic such as your laptop. have you ever tried all usb ports? i know that the front USB ports are linked by way of cord to the motherboard and that it could have been shaken unfastened indoors the flow.
