Ok......let me fill u in. I am at the point where I am going to throw out my computer. It is running very slowly. When u start it up the cursor is really jittery and if I happen 2 have my web cam on the computer shuts down and restarts. I can't seem to figure out what to do with it. I don't download much of anything except for the updated programs I have already installed (such as msn messenger, yahoo....etc.etc). Can anyone help me in cleaning up my system so it runs faster. As far as I can c it does not have any viruses or anything like that. I need to fix this problem I dont like it restarting in the middle of a game of battleships with my sister in law in a different country. Thank you for your help.

I would start by deleting what you do not need first to clear up some space and if that does not work buy a second hard drive to incease space to save new things.

A friend told me about this a few months ago when I was having my own issues with my PC. Since installing this program (System Mechanic), my machine runs much faster and more efficiently. The best part is that unlike certain "protection" software packages, this one doesn't take over your machine and will let you unistall it if you want to.

The company that makes it is called iolo.

first of all , format the pc and install the operating system again, so that you will start with a fresh copy, then before you install anything, install an anti virus, and anti spyware ... then see what happens

Can you check if the processor temperature isn't too high? it should be under 60 degrees. Maybe your cooling fan is not working properly.
Or you can also check your free space on hard drive

u can also do the disk defragmentation weekly to speed up ur system!!

If ur system is too old, try upgrading it, by upgrading the processor/ mother-board or even upgrading ur RAM

If nothing works, Try formatting ur hard drive and install ur operating system once again!!

You can be infected by a 'Trojan horse'.
Download Spybot, install it and run it.
When it finds Trojan horses and kills it, 'your' speed will grow again.

Use Defrag(mentation) on all your discs. It also helps to accelerate.
Good luck.
