There are certain things to look for such as; shuffling feet, wringing their hands, clearing their throat or when they say um alot. Also they sometimes get a scared look in their eyes. Depends how well you know the person.

There is no fool proof method to tell if a person is a liar because no two persons are the same. Sometime it will be very difficult to determine the extent of lies a person is saying particularly for one who has a talent to do it. Detection will come naturally as you constantly jell with the person as always only time will eventually reveal his/her true color.

If someone looks a way from you for just a second when they are talking to you than they are lying or if they lick there lips too much or say umm a lot.

you mean a person talking to u face to face?
u can see it in his eyes, if he/she s avoinding eye contact or hiding their face then they r lying

if u mean a person u r talking to on internet, well that's hard to know, but u can feel if he/she is sincere or not from the way he talks to u and treat u and try to meet u on time
