Look, it up maybe there is a website? You might look under the "French Revolution"
She was beheaded because she got married a man in a arranged marriage in an effort to give the royalty of France an heir. She was very young and didn't realize that everything she did would come back to haunt her one day. When there was a rebellion most everyone that had anything to do with the French nobility were sent to the Guillotine including Marie and her husband King Louis.

After hundreds of years of poverty and opression, the French peasantry revolted in 1789.

As the symbol of the French monarchy, the king and queen became the target of the mob's hate. Both Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette were tried on trumped up charges, convicted & beheaded.

General Lafayette, the American Revolutionary war hero, failed to keep out the mob from the royal palace so he was unable to guard the safety of the king and queen. The mob considered Lafayette a hero, and listened to him for a while, but when promises weren't delivered, and the French peasantry went hungry, they broke into the Tuillerier and dragged both King and Queen to the dungeons. It took a while before their heads were chopped off, but eventually their turn arrived and off went their heads. Anotinette was Austrian, the daughter of the Austrian King. To make peace with French, the King gave his daughter's hand to Louis XVi, who was a simpleton and childlike.

If I remember correctly she lived during the French revolution and had no compassion for the fate of the French people. I do remember the infamous quote that was attributed to her, when she heard that people were starving and had no bread to eat she said "Then let them eat cake". She was vain and very selfish.
Don't know if this will help you much. I used to enjoy history very much.
