No, I don't like to suffer by hating someone and poisoning my life

NO! I feel hurt about something for a little while maybe....then because I love or like that person, I just get over it! It's better for us, mentally, and probably physically, to NOT carry around all that extra baggage. It's time consuming, too...Rather save that space in my mind for something useful and positive...
Not only that, if I am realistic, I'd have to admit that I've probably said or done something, maybe unknowingly, to someone, that wasn't sensitive or well thought out, or in haste...and I'd certainly hope to not be put on their grudge list...
I am close to someone who really holds grudges ( for a lifetime) and it seems to me that they are hurting themselves, and in some ways, they have eliminated so many people from their life, that they seem to not be able to move forward..Not good to hold grudges...
If someone has really done something terrible to you, or your family, ( and someone has..) I forced myself to move forward, not waste anymore time dwelling on the negativity, and told myself not to be in a position to be "burned" by them again...so I just got them out of my mind and out of my life. It's not a grudge over something small...it was a really big thing!)
God says that if someone has offended us, to go directy to the person, and talk, and work it out. This is really good advice, BUT sometimes, with certain issues or certain people, this is impossible; so then, I guess we'd have to get them out of our lives and move on.

I never hold grudges, if someone pisses me off I'm over it within the day. I don't know why I'm like that.

No I don't. Life is too short to hold grudges.

I held that SCARY movie in my head forever - the only one that scared me, I love horror movies!

I don't hold grudges against people, I have better things to do :)

yes, i find it hard to forgive... though i know that holding grudges is not good and unhealthy, i can't stop myself holding into it until my revenge is carried out.. but sometimes i forget it, i only remember it again when i see the person i despise the most. the more i see him/her, the more the hatred grows. but for me, i don't feel drained of energy- but more of the anger keeps me alive somehow...

Absolutely not, even if I try. I mean, I'll need a few minutes to calm down, sometimes a few hours, and worst case scenario for something really really bad, a few days, but that's it.
