I must admit, I am ashamed to say I have never heard of this before. I have just looked at a description of how this is carried out and am sitting here with a lump in my throat. I appreciate and respect both sides of the argument whenever the issue of abortion/childbirth is raised, however, I cannot find it in me to say this is acceptable. It is brutal and primitive and I shall now follow this with interest.

specific, I too searched "partial delivery abortion" and found the technique description very hectic. I honestly have seen myself professional-selection, yet understanding that every physique could honestly decide for for -- or carry out this technique is previous concept for me. this might substitute my perspectives. i could think of if a fetus is improperly deformed or has an disease interior the womb, the physique could spontaneously abort it on it extremely is own and there could be no prefer for this technique. the certainty is, you by no skill know completely with reference to the well being of a baby till that's born. some issues are merely greater effective left interior the hands of God or nature (based upon your ideals). i'm sickened to make certain how a partial delivery abortion is accomplished and that i won't have faith every physique could try this for the sake of convenience. i'm 24-weeks pregnant top now and that i will sense an extremely lots alive toddler shifting interior me. i can't think of making the alternative to have any late-term abortion, despite the fact that if my own life have been at stake. To every physique reading this, I propose you get to grips with the technique by way of searching for it your self, in case you haven't any longer already. it extremely is named a D&X technique.

(option 1) I guess the first person we should crucify for partial birth abortion is Christ. Then we can take the words of the Bible and add to it a phrase that states that partial birth abortion is a sin (because nothing in the Bible says it is a sin). Then we could take the women that are about to die without an abortion and condem them to death. Boy that would be smart.
(option 2)
Or we could read the Bible and notice that no where does it say that abortion is murder. And we could pray to Christ for forgiveness for trying to take away free will. And we could allow an abortion to save a woman's life. And we could wonder why God invented abortion. We could ask ourselves if abortion is not murder according to the Bible (and it isn't) is it possible that there is no death in abortion. Is it possible that if we "save" the fetus we are doing more harm than good. Is it possible we are going against God's will.
Partial Birth Abortion may not be worse than the life that the fetus will have if it is born in opposition to God's will.

Why are you so concerned about how it appears... i.e. how "graphic and horrifying" the images might be? That is the same line of thinking that dictates that its wrong to shoot fluffy squirrels but perfectly alright to stamp on beetles.
Clearly you are too controlled by your emotions and rhetoric.
What you are not taking into account is that humans are made of the same things as squirrels, beetles and to a lesser extent plants, fungi and even bacteria. An aborted foetus, no matter what it might otherwise have been, is still just a bag of arranged cells: various organic tissues and the like. If it soothes your appearance-linked mind any, it doesn't even look particularly human and doesn't have any discernable personality.
To answer your question, I don't care one way or another for this practice in particular. When an unwanted foetus is produced, it doesn't particularly matter to me whether its removed immediately, or terminated right as it exits (or for that matter terminated in the playground some years later)... provided it is eradicated. The very last thing this world needs is more humans... let alone initially unwanted ones. If it gets the job done then theres nothing particularly wrong with it.
Admittedly though, earlier may be better to avoid the possibility of the foetus being able to experience unnecessary suffering. This isn't an excuse not to terminate pregnancies, but rather to get it done earlier wherever possible.
Let us not forget... this planet is heinously overpopulated by humans, and the more we keep adding to it, the more thinly the resources of this planet will be stretched and the lower the quality of life for all. Every filthy little human added to the planet is like a knife in its back.

i am totally against the partial birth abortion or any abortion for that matter, as far as a mothers life being in danger-----on a partial birth abortion the mother is giving birth partially , breech which is more dangerous than if she went ahead with a delivery so there is NEVER an excuse for this NEVER its murder plain and simple and my heart goes out to them precious babies that were never given a chance, they had to endure more pain than most adults do.

All abortions should stop.. This is the worst kind of abortion because they are killing the baby just before birth. There are to many people in the world that would take and love a baby so it makes no sence to have abortions.
MURDER, MURDER, MURDER.... I DO CARE ABOUT THESE BABIES..

Me..partial birth abortions are nothing less than murder, strange that if you are pregnant in some states, you can have an abortion until you deliver, yet home birth is illegal!
Yes, in MOST abortions, it is like a horror movie, you have to piece together the aborted baby, to make sure it is completed!
One of those "nice details" places like planned parenthood omit when they tell you they are emptying the contents of your uterus!

Infanticide is not a very nice topic.. Even the doctors who perform this procedure will reveal it is necessary only in about 1% of the cases. How does that justify the killing of a child... even if it is considered not born as it is only partially out of the birth canal.
The senator (doctor) makes the statement "it is never necessary."
