I don't think it is right. And there are a few others at the church that are like that too. I caught a person talking about me too.

If this is going on in your Church, find another one to go to.
Tell the Pastors wife to practice what her husband preaches.
Simply tell her that you don't gossip. And don't care to hear gossip. Bearing false witness against your neighbor is a sin and most gossip is false.

Just tell them that you prefer not to hear about someone else. The Pastor's wife should know better than to talk about other people, however, she is human and we all make mistakes. Otherwise, ask your Pastor to do a sermon about people talking about other people. I've done that at my church. My Pastor did the sermon about casting stones.

You tell the person respectfully that you are not into all that crap. Gossip can destroy many lives. And the church is always the one who gets to suffer because of it. If that woman is tagging along, tell her to tag on someone else. Because you didn't come to talk about people, you came to spend time with God. Another thing you could do is to pray about it. some things are better of if their only between you and your creator. And remember, the battle is not yours, its the Lord's!!!!!!

do nothing. no need to pass it on. listen from your right ear and let it our on the left. they are accountable and answerable to God at the end of the day not you but if you choose to go along with the flow of that kind then you are also accountable to God at the end of the day not us. better still if you can tell your Pastor the situation or even the wife to stop that it is definitely not right the way it is.
