There are several million Freemasons in the United States, doing their charitable work. But the Freemasons have never been connected to the Illuminati. Indeed, the Illuminati were a semi-mythical group that is long dead. The inventor of the Illuminati was a short Bavarian (no, not THAT short Bavarian) with visions of megalomania. The "Illuminati" died with him.
