I have one Muslim friend who has fully kept the Ramadan fast, it was tough for her but she really found it spiritually uplifting. It put her more into awareness of God and of suffering in the world. If Christians kept Lent with the same intensity, I wonder if the Western culture would be as degraded as it is.
May you know God (Allah) ever more deeply.
