Wigan 4 City 3 would have made the game more exciting for your neutral supporter.

From a Wigan point of view a 4-0 win is better because you did not conceed a goal which will boost the keepers and defenses confidence, there goal difference will be better which could be important come the end of the season and the team will be on a massive high from the good performance. As for City both results are bad but i suppose if they had scored 3 goals they could have took some positives from their attacking performance.

Depends on what side your on, If it's Wigan then it's 4-0 cause of the goal difference at the end of the season the 3 goals not conceded could mean another season in the premiership and if it's city then it's 4-3 cause of the 3 goals scored could also mean another season up with the big boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for a neutral I would say 4-3 but it is always good to get 4 goals past a Prem team, and Wigan needed a confidence boosting win like that as both strikers and defenders will be happy now

4-0. At least if you're a city fan and get thumped 4-0 you know your side deserved to get beaten. If you lose 4-3 it's harder to accept defeat, as you feel your team was agonisingly close to getting something out of the game

wigan 4 - city 3 beacause with the 4 - 0 scoreline city had no chance. BUT... with the 4 - 3 scoreline they stil tried but didnt quite cut it lol....tried n stil failed kinda thing :).......hehe very satisfying for a latics fan :)

wigan 4-city 0. for pure entertainment value, it will be end to end stufff.
but if u are a city fan, then u wudnt really like either scoreline.
