Every team must have at least 8 players on the team. The most amount allowed is 15, but only 12 can be active. the other three players that don't suit up could be if someone is injured and can't play then he would be on the inactive list and they would activate some one else. Now 5 players from each team are on the court at the same time, the coach makes the decision on which five guys start the game, and during the game a coach will make substitutions to either change the momentum in his favor, or if someone gets into foul trouble (6 fouls allowed until the player gets ejected) or the coach will rest his players that have been out there for awhile.

There may be only 5 active players in a team when it is playing. the team coach can have more than 5 players in his whole team, the players other than the 5 active ones are benched players, they act as substitute. When one active player is discarded by the referee, the team coach replaces him by selecting another player on the bench.

there are 15 on an active roster, and 12 can suit up for a game.

5 people from either team are allowed on the court at any time , and the minimum you can suit up with ,and play a game with is 7 players.

Hi
I am in basketball team so maybe I can tell you better about that.

Actually maximum players that can be in one team are 15 players but while playing a match, only 5 players play at one time but a player can be replaced at any time between the match.

thank you

Five (5) players each team. Of course not counting the substitutes.
