As you know a womans cycle is different, but is almost on day 14 as they say, you are more fertile on that 6 days before you ovulate and the day of ovulation. If you have a 28 day cycle you ovulate on the 14th so have sex on the 12, 14, 16, or even better everyday, the sperm can live in you for about 5 days, so enjoy having sex. You can go to fertilityfriend.com and chart your BBT, day of last period, mucus, if u use OPK, almost everything. And there they tell you when you ovulate, and how many days you are past ovulation is a great site. GOOD LUCK.

Hey you sound like me. I've asked my doctor this same question just last month. He says from the first day of your period even if its just a little spotting. count to day 12. than every other day have sex until the 18th day. you can have sex every day if you like. but make sure you don't skip that every other day.. He says sperm stays wiggly for 48 hours. i had sex most of that week only skipped one day. I think i got pg but i missed carried. Ill find out today. Also if your using any lubricants STOP. this can kill the little buggers. He says there very sensitive. If you do get
pregnant and you think you are get a blood test don't use those home test. I don't want you to go through what i went through.. those home test suck....Good luck....

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Having sex during periovulation period (3 days before & 3 days after) offers the best chance of conception. Ovulation usually occurs on day 14 of a normal menstrual cycle but every female in reproductive age group knows by experience her ovulation day (mild decrease in body temperature on that day). its ok to say to have contact in good position from 10 - 17th day , but in my experience it didnt work well for us, so when we started having contacts every alternate after periods and 4 days before the next period was due we had result in that month itself. so don't restrict urself to days, do it, have fun enjoy ur sex life everyday, the chances r better. and remember dont be tensed.. be relax
