They feel they can treat women like shite all the time. and that everything always has to go there way. Does anyone else out there agree with me and find it fair that they do what they do?

hardrockgirl seems to have made the exact point i was hoping some1 would say. i thought it to be in my imagination that it was the mothers fault. i have always said that. they think they know what is best and interfere all the time and it just makes the guy an *** and they say girls turn out like there mothers. i reckon its men who turn out to be there mothers especially if there mothers are twats like my mans mother. thanks i have just realized it isnt all his fault his mother plays a big part in his stupidity.

It is wrong and totally unfair , to act like that !
For every arrogant man ,hiding behind him ,
you will find, a shivering bully, .
this macho, person is just a pitiful creature,
trying to show, how great , he thinks he is .
When in fact he is the lowest of the low ----
there can be no excuse for the way he acts !
it is totally unacceptable
No woman (or man) should have,
to put up with this type of abuse --- ever
Thankfully , not all men are like this .
But when we find one bad egg, ,

Thank goodness you added the word SOME. I could only imagine the backlash u would get.
The reason they treat women like shite is because women let them. We have all been brought up in a society where people are made to believe that women are the weaker sex. And no matter what amount of womans liberation takes place. it will never be any different.
Some of the men your talking about are the little boys that we as mothers have raised. The ones that need everything their way obviously were given everything their little hearts ever desired. Nothing is ever fair, so get used to it.

Some confusing answers here, some think it is because men are insecure, erm.. how can men be so secure when due to their insecurities??. Plus.. several answers, such as hardrockgirl's seem to lay the blame at the feet of women (mothers) themselves. Hold on i'm confused, women are complaining about men, then blame women for making the men like they are in the first place...so who is really to blame, isn't it the women themselves! Maybe the question should be, Why do some PEOPLE think they are better than others? Don't just blame the mothers, don't some fathers treat their daughters as little princesses, turning them into precocious little bitches who fail to see the equality between men and women.

Sara, you are hanging with the wrong men. I've known women that are like the men you describe. I married two of them. The third was a charm. We've been married 25 years, are best friends, and are considerate of each others feelings. We work on never arguing. Peace and tranquility reigns in my home.
Try a different group of men. Look into inner qualities instead of just looks and you'll be a lot happier. Good luck.

It works both ways.
People of both sexes can think this, although I admit probably more males than females.
Each gender has some fantastic qualities, I feel more time needs to be spent on the good points.
There is also a philosophy about getting what you give, not sure if this works but worth a mention.

Some are like that because they have serious ego problems, and are quite shallow. Given a chance I would like to do an IQ test for them, and I am sure to find all of them well below 90.
I think there's some kind of rule of thumb by which decent girls ends up with crappy men and decent guys end up with crappy girls.

I think a lot has to do with how they were raised. Some guys Mom's told them "you are just the greastest son". "You can do no wrong". Praising you kids is good, but some Mom's...really give their men big heads. "you are the most handsome man alive". It is like a record that plays in their head. They think any woman should just be honored to be with them. That is just my thought.
PS. They usually look for women with low self esteem to beat them down. Women with high self esteen would see they are jerks with big egos and no brains.

The best bet is to keep away from the men who are like this. There are plenty of men in the world who treat women correctly, the other ones who act like this have a problem. Don't get involved they use woman to boost their ego..........they are bullies.

It is usually men with little dicks and big ego's that treat women badly. Also they probably target women who have low opinion of themselves and are lacking in confidence. A woman with high self esteem wouldn't be with a man who treated her badly.

Don't take any notice of the horrible ones. Just keep away from men that want to exert power over you and find one that wants equality of mind. xx I dislike show offs innit, and Men who are maggoty on the inside LIKE THAT GUY OF GISBORN
