I am 69, No it belongs to everyone. I was annoyed the other day when a 49 year old sister-in-law referred to me as elderly, I was offended! I said, well exactly when does that categorization happen? At 64 you are 64, but at 65 you are elderly? I am physically more healthy than she, got my "s--t together, enjoy every day, am very physically active and attend to my responsibilities.
I am also happy and every day is fun for me. These people making you feel old are not satisfied with where they are in life!!

I don't understand the "made to feel old" part of your post. As with many other areas of life, it's all about perception. The only thing that can make you feel old is you.

I'm 54, and other than a few minor physical changes, I don't feel any older than I did 30 years ago. Especially with advances in the medical field, we are living longer and healthier than ever.

I know you understand that this planet belongs to everyone. To say that it only belongs to people of a certain age is pretty absurd.

My suggestion for you is to stop worrying about how old you are. Considering the alternative, I'll take getting older any day. I would just concentrate on having a rewarding and fulfilling life - which is there for the taking for all of us.

Only if you let them. I feel old at 26 but only because I don't think I've used my time and life as I would have had to. Too much of doing nothing.

My dad will turn 60 this year, travels a lot, reads and learns a lot, is always doing something. I bet I feel older than he does.

It's not how old you are, it's how old you feel and how you choose to use the time you have available.

no. you feel old only when you let yourself feel old. it's all in the mind, dude. just be more positive and don't let yourself be limited to what other people think of you and your age. heard of the cliche "young at heart" or "forever young"? it really applies. if you think you're old, then you will feel old. but if you think that you are still young (but not like act in your teens or something freaky like that), then you can still enjoy life like you were younger. it gives you vitality and enthusiasm to explore your needs, interests and what makes you happy. life is a never ending experience and your life is not yet over, so don't let yourself get down because of nay sayers. ok? take care.

Down here in South Florida, younger girls always hook up with the older guys. You should get yourself some viagra, and a bag of candy... and you should be good! Soon you'll be feeling more like a seasoned stud, than an Old man.

I'm afraid it does Al, what a waste heh? They don't even know how to appreciate it. I'm 36 years young and feel so out of place when I go out these days. Youth is wasted on the young, but if you feel good, that's fantastic. Keep fit, stay happy, and hang about with people who don't think your first pet was a dinosaur..
