does anyone know what these results mean in children haemoglobin 11.6 white cell count 11.1 neutrophils 5.79 lymphocytes 4.01 and platelets 403

the white cell count is a bit high. It could mean inflammation or infection or nothing. Ask your doctor as results should be interpreted in the context of the patient also different laboratories may use slightly different ranges, depending on how they perform the measurements

Hb. normal. TLC upper limit of normal. Platelets higher side. Neutrophils and lymphos become almost equal at about 6 years age. Before that, lymphos are more and after that, neutrophils are more. I would say that this is a normal report.

I think that everything is fine in case of children.Otherwise the count of haemoglobin in girls aging between 12 and 13 and so on shold be more than 13.The count is fine

well first should be 11.5-16.0 for a normal level nxt wcc 4.0-11.0 for normal level neutrophils 1.6-9.3 for normal you platlet count is fine the higher the better i no that because i suffer from i.t.p which is a low platlet count mine do be 13 thats scarey so keep them up and i dont have the normal for lymphocytes but all looks ok so thats what i have on the results

The results appear that they are within the normal ranges, but the white cells are a little high.

Looks good to me. Children tend to have higher white cell counts. Hgb is good.
