threequarters fill the cup with hot water then add a few drops of washing up liquid, top off with more water and leave for a day. you will probably have to pour out a near solid block of soap and the stains will come off with it. This also shows you how little washing up liquid you actually need with your day to day washing up. - - - I assumed the stains were on the inside, if on the ouitside just do the same thing to get enough water to sink the cup into it. Good luck.

Well i use tooth past it cleans my cup its also good for cleaning sinks and even the bath plus cheaper than many household cleaners. If you think about how do you remove the stains from tea on your teeth yes tooth past your cup is glazed so are your teeth. So to clean your cup put a little on a soft damp cloth and gently rub inside the cup and see the stain coming off.

Fill the cup with lemon juice (I use bottled lemon juice) and let it soak for 15 minutes. You can use the same lemon juice in each cup that needs to have stains removed. I have also found that lemon juiice not only removes tea stains, but Ihat it removes hard water spots from drinking glasses and stainless steel flatware/utensils. And, it's inexpensive! Good luck!

Leave to soak overnight in a mixture of white vinegar and water - one part each and then remove stubborn stains as soon as you empty the solution out with a little bicarbonate of soda on a damp cloth. Works a treat but don't forget to rinse thoroughly before using

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your cups! I had the same thing happen on my china! I surfed the net like a mad woman, but nothing worked. I finally tried the colorox bleach pen. It took the stain right out! Make sure to wash out the cups with soapy water after using the stick

I paid about $4.50 for mine, but I was surfing the freebies today and I saw a link to get one for free!

Good Luck!

Pour mixture of 1/4 bleach, 3/4 water into the cup and leave overnight (out of the reach of children). Rinse and wash thoroughly in the morning.

Get a stain eraser, those white blocks that only requires water for it to work. It works magic on tea stains! wash it lightly with the eraser, your cups will be gleaming in no time.

If scrubbing isn't working or you are worried about damaging the cup, try putting a weak solution of bleach in there and leave to soak for a few minutes. Rinse very throughly before use though.

I normally use laundry bleach without diluting it. Pour some in there and swirl it around to get rid of the stain. Please note to thoroughly clean it to get rid of the bleach. I would put some hot water in there and leave it till it cool and wash it with detergent or in dish washer.

Yep! Believe it or not, cheap, supermarket denture tablets. Dissolve in warm water and leave for a couple of hours. Works on the teapot, vases, all sorts of china too.
