There are many reasons possible: One could be that she is suffering from migraine, another that she has tension headaches, due to many things, like poor posture, stress, grinding teeth...the list can go over to hormonal imbalances, dehydration, high bloodpressure and even more serious medical problems. If possible, and if she is experiencing these headaches frequently, she should see a doctor.
Hope she'll be doing better really soon.

she could be under a lot of stress or dehydrated can cause headaches but she should see a doctor just to check.

could be alot of reasons...i dont know your family obviously but the leading two could be menopause or stress.
