Ok I bought a 1991 Honda Prelude. I don't know exactly what's wrong with it. When I got it, the car started to not want to go into gear. Then, all of a sudden the clutch pedal went all the way to the floor and doesn't come back up on it's own. I think it may need adjusted but I could be wrong. Any ideas?

It has a hydraulic clutch. Check the fluid level in the reservoir. Also check for a fluid leak in the slave cylinder and the clutch primary cylinder. The primary cyl is on the firewall near the master cyl. The slave cyl. is on the bell housing near the transmission.
Hope this helps.

Have you checked the fluid? These clutches usually use brake fluid. You may be low. Look in a manual.

Sounds like your hydrolic clutch is the problem. Check the fluid first then the master and slave cylinders.

if it shifts advantageous with the trans out of the truck, that tells me that the grab linkage is at fault. the point is in difficulty-free words one element that i might want to verify. the grab carry close and slave cylinder can fail and nevertheless no longer loose any fluid. I somewhat have had that ensue on a vehicle or 2 of my personal. had to do the upkeep in a gas station. if the trans itself remains finished, it truly is an outstanding element. the mazda trans might want to carry atf.
