For me, I am an early morning person so I know to get things done without feeling like it is a major chore I need to do them during the first half of the day. I usually make a plan in my head of what I need to do for the day and how long I estimate it might take. If you allow yourself an hour or two to start with you will chip away at the pile that you have before you.
I do the same thing with household chores that I would rather not do. Like 15 min. for dishes, 15 min. to straighten up living room, 10 min. dining room, 15 min. bathroom, etc. so in your mind it's only an hour of your day and you feel like you have accomplished something.

Tell yourself that you'll have to do it sooner or later.
