I too would think it was a bad PSU. If you are sure that you hooked up all the cables properly, it is possible that your new PSU is also toast...but lets look for something else first...

Obvious: Power cord, bad power outlet on wall or power strip (circuit breaker).
Not so obvious: Power switch on computer (test by opening up case and manually jump the pins on the motherboard that lead to the switch)
Painful: Logic on mb that turns on PSU (bad mobo)

I would first test for bad switch. If that doesnt work, try another PSU. It's a cheap investment before you go buying a new mobo.

your computers Power supply Unit (PSU, SMPS) is burned out.
But before repairing it or replacing it......

Please check for Proper earthing and proper voltage at the power socket, where you plugged in your computer.
because, if your earthing or voltage is faulty, the same problem will occur again and again

your monitor shows "No signal input" because it doesn't detects any signal from your computer motherboard. and because the power supply is not working, your CPU will not get power.

anyway, you can repair your power supply from any electrician(will cost about 150 Rs)
OR you can purchase a New one for you. New power supply will carry atleast one year warranty (upto three years possible) and will not cost you much. (price is around Rs. 450 to 700)

Apart from that, Check for faoult power cables etc...
If you have any UPS or Invertor at home check them too, they might have some problems like over voltage output etc.

ask the professionals (like me) If you don't know how to check.......

IF the unit does not power on even after installing a new power supply then the motherboard on your pc has gone bad. Open up your pc and double check the light on the motherboard to see if it is getting activity. If the light is not on or if it is on and the color is red you have a bad motherboard.

If you want to get a new motherboard for your computer you would have to contact the manufacturer of your computer to get the new motherboard.

You might want to consider getting your data backed up and purchasing a new pc because motherboards can be very expensive to get and install. I would go to a local pc repair shop and get them to backup your data for you. I repair computers at my job and I have seen this problem quite a few times and it is usually more economical to get a new pc and data backup. You just have to weigh your options. Best of luck
