My son is 6 years and was born preterm. I could hardly feel his testicles and he had to see a specialist. He has already had two surgeries to correct this. On the second surgery they managed to bring the left one down. The right one you can hardly feel it, it is more up and very tiny. We went back to see the specialist and he said it is abnormally tiny and problem is that he was taken to surgery late the testicle might not develop fairly well and he should not have problems with his sex life. The left one is visible and he is healthly and all. Any specialist out there who can help.

I am not a specialist, but I can tell you. I was born with one "undecended testicle". It did not move down into the sac as it should have. At 6 years old I had sergery to move it down into the sac. My one testicle is normal size but the one that was moved down is small. My parents were told if the sergury was not done it could cause cancer later. I am now 52 years old. I am very healthy. I have been happily married for 32 years. I still enjoy a good sex life, and have 3 grown children, and 4 grandchildren. You have to keep an eye on him, but don't worry. Through the years I have known others with the same problem, and they turned out fine too.

Your on the right track with the surgery. But if you don't have good progress after all that are you going to regrate the surgery. Maybe you won't. Just follow your heart and pray god every day that you are here. And that you are a strong and beautiful person. I'm sorry if this does not answer your question.

And....what are you asking us for. You have doctors that should have explained everything to you honey. If he has one testicle he should be O.K. It happens more times than one knows, a testicle or two do not drop as one would think. A surgeon, in this case, has to do it.
