You need to tell her parents..something really bad could happen to her like she could get attacked or fall and hurt herself or black out..she might need her stomach pumped and need to go to hospital and then her parents would definetly find out and they would wonder why you never said anything..she could die of alcohol poisoning.. tell her if she doesnt stop you will tell her parents and if she stops being your friend tell her you dont want to hang around with a drunken little tart anyway.

this friend is your friend do not tell her parents as she will no longer be your friend and she needs you to be there for her. talk her into going to the doctors or calling a help line for teens talking to a friendly teacher some one that is not close to her it beats the police bringing her home one night smashed out her face or the hospital phoning to say she has alcohol poising. what started her on the drink ,is she having problems at home, i have been through this with my 15 year old its hard, she needs some one to help her.my daughter said she had stoped drinking but she lied. it is easy for kids to get drink, fags drugs, etc they just need help and a gentle guiding hand. my daughter is now off the drink so far i still worry and will never forget the ride to the hospital in the ambulance, adults do this and kids see it and think i can handle it , get help.

its so pathetic that she thinks drinking is cool.well its not,one may be any age.grown ups do it as a part of socialising.dont give her company when shes drinking.tell her that if she gets caught she will lose her parents trust may be forever and grounded for a long time and its just not worth it and she should wait till the legal age ie 18....if she stays adamant report the matter to her parents or ur school counsellor and ask them to keep ur name out of it....

All you can do is tell her - its up to her parents to clamp down and stop her. At 13 I wonder where she gets the drink from ??? You could always report the shop selling her the stuff - call trading standards at your local council dept. I wish you and your friend luck xx

M - I think you should REMOVE your ad from your signature - its pathetically irresponsible to advertise dating sites to minors !!!!

Listen, If you really want to help your friend tell her parents. They are the only ones that can help her. They are responsible for her safety. You just might save your friends life.

obviously it is illegal to drink at this age
an adult (parent/guardian) should step in
unfortunately, there are some (a minority) that don't seem to care what their kids get up to
if it really is a problem, tell a teacher (you can do it anonymously)

discuss with her the damage it can cause to her liver and the long term damages of it. She is far too young to be drinking, not only is it illegal but she is hurting herself.

tell her parents...it's not snitching...it's caring...she is too young and CAN become dependant on it straight away....there's too many cases of teen drunks in this day and age...lets hope she does not become a statistic...take care of her, she'll thank you for it one day....if you see her with a drink...make it your business to take it from her and swill it, she may get mad at you but hey....that's what friends do..they watch out for one another....take care sweetie....your a good mate, let us know how you get on
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a little note to the poster (m)...your a bad example to all teens....
