If it has been saved, and the program closed, you are out of luck. Perhaps someone can touch it up for you ... it's possible, depending on how bad the damage is. If the program is still open and the file hasnt been saved ... just close the program, most dont auto save ....
Suggestions for future:
always have a backup
backup all your pictures on to CD's or better yet, an
external hard drive. Been there done that, I am sorry that happened for you

That's pretty dang funny, but see if the program has special undo features. Some have long undo log/memories may be if you're lucky there's way to undo. Look at help index for undos. If that don't work it probably require some computer geek to fix it.
Last desperate attempt might be system recovery/restore, but I don't know if that revert individual files or not.

If she saved it and it's your only copy, the only thing I see to do is perhaps have it professionally touched up. And you may want to consider password protecting your PC or creating backups of important files so you can avoid this in the future. Good luck!

Man..I hate that for you....did they save it?
If so....theres not many options that I know of...you could try using photoshop...or maybe trying a system restore..I dont know if thats going to work out well, restoring to like..yesterday or something...maybe it will replace the older picture.
