I know that the deer species indigenous to the U.S. loose them every year. I cannot say if other deer species from around the world all do so however.

There are over 45 known species of deer in four different taxonomic families around the world.

I found at least one species that does not shed. I think it was a deer from Central Asia.

Yes. And they re-grow each spring a bit larger. That's how you tell young deer from older ones. The older ones have much bigger racks.
