I just read a book about the history of Australia. The Aborigines just walked around. Once they found somewhere they liked they stayed around that area. Alot of the time, when the Europeans came across them they made friends with them. Helping them on their journey by hunting food and giving them someone to stay at night or in the rain. Thats why the Europeans names a lot of places after aborigines and gave them land etc. ( like the land that the Oprah House is one was granted to an Aboriginal that helped a group of Europeans.
