If race wasn't a factor and I didn't have to worry about getting lynched, I'd say the Roaring 20s. Or, maybe even the 60s or 70s. I would have been a hippie, for sure.

50 or 100 years into the future, I'm sure that by that time, we already have the technology to time travel. I wanna go there because I wanna see what has mankind's geniuses' have created and at the same time, I can visit any era and period, I have the power to see what has happened both in past, present and in the future. Not for selfish reasons, but I plan to document every single human achievement and show other beings the unending capabilities of mankind!

The future. It should be so much better than this one. Have more cures, less air pollution, and maybe less violence. They will have erased the violent DNA I hope. If not, they will send them to another planet, I hope. Things will be easier, and not have to work as hard. It will just be so much better than this dirty, violent, fighting all the time place. I think they will be more cooperative with each other too. I don't know how long it will take, nor if it will take a start all over again, by a disaster either natural or otherwise, but it could be better. I think people will go back to communicating more with each other, and having more time with family. That is just my opinion. There is no time in the past I would like to go back to. Never.

Now :)
I am very happy with how my life has gone time-wise.
I got to miss being in the service for the two WW's, The Korean War, & Vietnam, yet served 9 active years in the US Navy!
I got to live & see the 60's, 70's, 80's, was born and raised in Southern California at the right time in my opinion, and because I'm "white", didn't ever have to go through racial bullcrap others have had to live through, what more could I ask for? :)
I am indeed very lucky, and have had a GREAT life just as it has been!

I'm fascinated by Englan in the 1500s (Henry IIV and Henry IIIV). I would like to go back and visit that era but am much to comfortable with my modern amenities to stay there.

Elizabethan times, I would have liked to have seen Shakespear's plays when they were first played...The whole woman's rights thing would have pissed me off, but I would have liked to have lived then just for a little while then be shot back to the 21st century...
Now where did I put that time machine...

I'm very happy living in the present. It would be detrimental to my mental health to start wishing that I lived in a different time, as with our current level of technology this simply is impossible.
However, one day in the future, if we haven't killed ourselves, I am in no doubt that we can achieve wondrous things, including time manipulation.
