Essentially, you measure around your body under you boobs, and then across them. This will give you the size, ex. 32, 36, etc Cup size is determined by the size of the boobs themselves; AA being smallest, though B and C, with DD generally being largest, although you can go larger, into F and I've even heard of an H cup. I would go to a professional, and have them properly size and fit you. And watch out because not all bras are created equally. So alway try before you buy.

Take a tape measure and measure around your mid section just under your breasts. Then do the same but up around the nipple part of your breast. Go to the store and speak to the lady in the bra section. Tell her your measurements and she will help you find the right type and size of bra for your frame.

You go to a lingerie shop and have yourself fitted. If you think this will be embarrassing, it's not. They just give you some tape, you measure yourself, they usually ask what size your most comfortable brassière is and give you a selection to try on. Buy the ones that fit best.

Two factors are considered when obtaining bra size: cup capacity and the circumference of one's torso. If you go to a good lingerie shop, the saleswoman will be able to assist you.

Getting measured helps in a general way, but different brands fit differently. The only way to know for sure is to try them on.

check the size you are wearing now, if its small go a bit bigger, if its to big, go a bit smaller, alot of high street stores do a free fitting service. my faveourite is marks and spencers as they measure you with your clothes still on, also you can try items on before you buy.
