I know in the future, China will be the major power player on the international affairs.

but first, I want to know, how far the have the Chinese shifted the power from the U.S.?

In other words, so far how much power the U.S. has lost to China, in dealing with the international matters? How much influence does China have to the world?

I know that France is no longer considered as a super power, and so as to the European nations.

I agree that China is an emerging economic power. It also has a huge manpower and military. But in cultural, political and diplomatic matters China is not the powerful.

BTW this new China is really a paradox. For all practical purposes its economic structure is capitalist while it is still holding to its totalitarian form of government. It has given away whatever little edge communism had over capitalism, and it has still retained the worst aspect of communism, i.e. totalitarianism.
